Balfolk – European Folklore Band

Popular social dance from Western Europe that has evolved from the recent revival of traditional, mostly French folk dances. Bourée, Jig, Gavotte, Mazurka, Waltz or Scottish …It includes partner dances as well as group dances in circle or chains.They are fun and easy to learn, you do not need a partner or experience.

Rob Lowe aka PM Spunk – POETRY

He is also a published author & stand-up comic of an alternative nature. PM is a Visionary. He is also a promotor and digital artist/ marketing wiz. PM advocates for Mental Health as he has had to battle his demons over the years and still suffers with crippling anxiety and depression.

Thisis a monologue by a man living rough in the Phoenix Park. He cannotrememberthe eventthat has him homeless but he can’t move on until he does. He triesto use the letters ofthe alphabetto jog his memory. He rememberssexual abuse in a foster home. The monologue was performed at The Galway Fringe Festival and at The Ranelagh Arts Festival. It was published in The Honest Ulsterman in 2018.

Colm Keegan Poet

Colm Keegan is a writer and poet from Dublin. He has been shortlisted four times for the Hennessy New Irish Writing Award, for both poetry and fiction and has won the All Ireland Poetry Slam. Elga Fox

Hailing from Co. Leitrim but now residing in Dublin, Elga trained as an actress and singer, before delving into songwriting several years ago. The warmth and power of her soulful mellow vocals plays credence to her emotive and honest songwriting style. Her blues/folk/Irish overtones echo some of her many influences including Etta James, BB King, Bob Dylan, Sinead O’Connor, Tracy Chapman and Luke Kelly.

Let’s Set Sail

Let’s Set Sail began as a songwriting project for two students studying classical music composition. Now it is a 4-piece band, tastefully blending acoustic and synthetic textures to produce well-crafted electronic folk songs. These songs contain honest, relatable lyrics with a distinctly Dublin flavour. Let’s Set Sail’s EP, ‘The Nothingness of Now’, is out now on Homebeat Presents.

Aerial Performance

Caroline Toledo (aka Sirius Aerial Performance), originally from Rio de Janeiro, is a performing artist based in Dublin. She has years of international experience in the performing arts as an actor, dancer and a singer and has been hard at work developing herskills as an acrobat and aerialist for the last five years. She is an active member of the Dublin Circus Project, where she trains five days a week focusing on aerial rope, doubles acrobatics and movement.

Vernon Jane

Vernon Jane are a Jazz Punk band. They are a powerful presence live: an incredibly raucous, unhinged presence. The band strikes you with a wall of well-crafted, intertwined noise. For the untrained ear, it can be a lot of take in and make sense of. When they merge on a track; it’s rough, it’s loud, it’s angry.

Strands by Ellen Love

A music show composed of dance, acting, text and sounds. Many ways to perceive life & art. Legends to sharpen your imagination, movement to make you play like a child. Animals and Gods presenting deep layers of thoughts. Strands is a visceral performance, featuring a combination of Brazilian-African rhythms, jazz and world music. Exploring frequencies and its effects on peoples perception. Launching her new single “Lovebele”, Ellen Love intends to reach out to a significant public with the message of dreaming while awake; her show starts at 10 p.m., you better get in time for the storm.
