Writing for a Change: Flash Fiction Competition

The Irish Writers Centre is pleased to partner with the National Botanic Gardens and the Five Lamps Arts Festival in presenting a bilingual Flash Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction competition themed around climate change entitled Writing For A Change.

To celebrate the winners, we are hosting a showcase event in the beautiful surroundings of National Botanic Gardens, where the four winners will read their winning entries in Irish and English, from the under 30s and over 30s groups.

They will be joined by judges Gavin Corbett, Elizabeth Murray and Orna Ní Choileáin, who have been commissioned to write original pieces in response to the theme. It promises to be a night of good ideas, strong insights and fierce determination to change our ailing world.

All welcome!
