DESCRIPTION:Local historian John Seery will guide a fascinating tour outlining the emergence of Dublin’s ‘Golden Age’ when the city became one of Europe’s largest and foremost centres of culture and grand civic design. The tour starts at Henrietta Street where the Georgian city as we know it today began, and traverses the 18th century city of Dorset Street, Parnell Square and then finally at Mountjoy Square where the Golden Age ended.
