PUBLISHING

In this section, you will find all the children’s books that we have developed as a Festival in recent years. We are very proud of these projects since they were very well received not only by our community but by a larger audience.

I REMEMBER...

The plot of this lovely children’s book is about a little girl called Kate who loved listening to Nanny’s brilliant stories about growing up on Sheriff Street. But now she just sits in the chair and doesn’t even talk. “Ma says Nanny can’t remember things anymore. Why not? Is there a memory robber going around?”

Niamh Gleeson is a playwright and screenwriter. Her play ‘Dear Frankie’ was staged in the Gaiety Theatre and toured Ireland extensively. She is writer-in-residence at Marino College and her plays for children are performed for Primary School audiences every December. She has been an episode writer for RTE’s continuing drama, Fair City, since 2017. ‘I remember…’ is her first children’s book
