Memories of St Vincent’s Girls School, North William Street
Join Historian in Residence, Elizabeth Kehoe, for a talk on the history of St. Vincent’s Girls’ School, North William Street.
Before this talk, she would like to invite former pupils to share their memories of attending the school. This will hopefully lead to a longer project resulting in a publication and/or exhibition about the school, based on people’s recollections.
You can fill out this form HERE with the stories you want to share.
Memories can be about anything related to their time at the school—first days, teachers, friendships, or any other experiences. These stories can reflect both the good and the bad, as not all memories will be happy ones. There is no limit to the length of your story!
Elizabeth has a special connection to St. Vincent’s, as she attended the school herself in the late 1960s. If anyone has photos or school memorabilia, please bring them along. We want to hear from both older and more recent pupils.
In 2015, Elizabeth Kehoe returned to formal education and completed a degree in history at Trinity College Dublin, followed by an M. Phil. in Modern Irish History. She is an independent tour guide and researcher based in Dublin, working in Ireland and online. She shares her love for history with established local communities, new Irish communities, and visitors to this island.
