[et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]Monday 21st June in Liberty Park we celebrated the Summer Solstice and the International Yoga Day.

The Summer Solstice or Midsummer was traditionally a day to celebrate life, fertility and the potential for a good harvest. Nowadays, people worldwide still celebrate the date with outdoor events, music, dance, food, and bonfires.

The date chosen to celebrate International Yoga Day was also of great significance to Indian people as it marks the transition to Dakshinayana.

We had a great evening with a Yoga class by Michael Darragh Macauley and a healing sound relaxation with Leo Harte.

The sun was shining and everyone had a lovely evening!
