Mortal Engines Volume 6
Mortal Engines’ is a comic apologia of the humans who surround and interact with us and the marks we make on the world, from the architecture of a skyline to the tagging on a storefront. It is made to celebrate the local, the small-scale, the eccentric, and the down-right ordinary. It is a search for the moments which contain a multitude of possibilities for examining the humor of the everyday.
A key aspect of Harry Walsh Foreman’s work is creating a more interactive fusion between the viewer and the art. While he fully defers to the importance of the ‘white cube,’ Harry is more concerned with creating a strong feeling of character and place, allowing his diverse work to be viewed as a conceptual whole.
