Board the ‘Train to Sligo’ for a masterclass in songwriting with acclaimed hit songwriter Luan Parle. Whether you are new to songwriting, would like a better understanding of how to compose a song, or need that extra little push, this songwriting workshop will cover song structure, choosing a theme, chord progression, creative writing/lyrics, melody, arrangement & performance.
You can collaborate with other like-minded individuals under the guidance of Luan. You don’t have to play an instrument to participate in the workshop!
Luan Parle has extensive experience teaching songwriting to people of all ages. Over the past 15 years, Luan has facilitated songwriting workshops for many organisations including Waltons, IMRO & The Department of Education.
Having had numerous hits and accolades, Luan has written and recorded with some of the world’s most successful award-winning songwriters & producers including Grammy award-winning Bill Bottrell (Michael Jackson, Prince, Elton John) & Billy Steinberg (Madonna, The Bangles)
The idea of the event was based on a song called The Scholar, by an American singer and songwriter Thom Moore who wrote the song and recorded it whit his band, Midnight Well and Pumpkin Head and also Maura O’Connell.
