Mayumi, Caitriona, Fiona Andrew, and Irene are singers passionate about Georgian Polyphony. They all met about 12 years ago as part of the Zurmukhti Georgian Ensemble and have sung together ever since. This year they are presenting a selection of folk and work songs, which they will perform alongside an activity or craft.
An intimate sharing of Georgian music celebrates the peace and stillness that can be found in simple movements, the companionship of work and song, and the voice and the hand.
The audience can bring handiwork to the performance if they wish to work while they sing!
