The Women of Sheriff Street | Tara Kearns Exhibition
The Five Lamps Arts Festival has been working closely with The Central Bank of Ireland over the last few years to showcase the work of local artists, bringing together a collection that reflects the community’s diversity and creativity, with the Central Bank providing a dynamic space to house each exhibition
Our latest collaboration spotlights the works of Dublin artist Tara Kearns, an emerging and native talent from Sheriff Street in Dublin North Inner City. Tara’s exhibition, “The Women of Sheriff Street,” is a love letter to the women, both young and old who grew up and lived in the area and their individual experiences of the place.
As an artist, Tara, shaped by her role as an activist and storyteller, specialises in oil painting and portraiture. She explores themes of identity, place, and memory, aiming to capture the essence of the subject matter.
The exhibition runs from November 29th to December 15th at the Central Bank of Ireland, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. Please note that on December 1st, 4th, and 5th, the exhibition will be close. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit this outstanding exhibition.
