Trad Music Sesh
Aisling and Liam Lonergan come from a musical family. They grew up playing with Ceoltóirí Cluain Tarbh, a traditional music group based in Clontarf and travelled right around the country every summer to learn from the masters of the tradition at the various summer schools, such as the Joe Mooney week in Drumshambo, Leitrim and the Willy Clancy week in Miltown Malbay, Clare.
Sean-nós dancer and concertina player Éabha Ní Mhaolagáin also hails from a musical family. Her father, Néillidh Mulligan, son of T.P. Mulligan of Bornacoola, Leitrim, is one of Dublin’s great contemporary pipers. Her siblings play and can regularly be seen playing together in the Cobblestone pub.
