5 Lamps Arts and Crafts Market on Dublin City FM

5 Lamps arts & crafts market

‘5Lamps Arts & Craft Day’ took place on Saturday 1st April We partnered with D-Light Studios to host a Quirk and an African Market. Also, we had the beautiful folk songs of “The Song and the Hand” by Mayumi Kabayashi, Caitriona, Fiona, Andrew and Irene who performed that evening.

The Quirk Market is for queer artists, vendors, creators and entrepreneurs. The LGBTQI+ community keeps growing in Ireland, opening spaces for people to feel safe expressing their identities. QUIRK Market aims to be a place where artists of all kinds and creators of all types can engage with their audiences and sell their products. Exchange ideas: debate and share the love.

The African Market sells African fashion and high quality products inspired by the diverse culture, art, and style of the continent. All their pieces are ethically made and celebrate de best of Africa. Their mission is to normalise African fashion and make it more inclusive.

Ella Corcoran from Dublin City FM attended the market that day and we were featured on Monday on #GoodMorningDublin !! thanks so much for featuring us and helping us get more visibility!
